Premium quality wholesale Hyperstene gemstone beads, pendants and cabochons for jewelry making and designing. Carefully selected gemstones help you create outstanding necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Hyperstene is a gray, brown, or green mineral found in igneous and some metamorphic rocks. It may also be located in stony and iron meteorites largely in the United States and off the coast of Labrador. With a vitreous to pearly luster, Hyperstene may display a copper-red metallic sheen on some surfaces. Some have abandoned the term Hyperstene and categorize the mineral as enstatite or ferrosilite. The name means "over strength" which is indicative of its hardness.
