BTW will you EVER have more of the matte finish turquoise rondelles that you sold by the bag weight? Sloan and I purchased them from you in several batches. They very crude looking, probably hand cut, and we adore them.

Saw your Fetish Necklace anti-advertisement on BAM's classifieds and had to check it out. Those were very neat, but not my thing. However, I decided to browse a little bit - low and behold, you had a sale on tools, and I have been wanting to get a steel bench block and a chasing hammer forever and there they were. I had a mastectomy in 1993 and the requisite six months of chemotherapy treatments. I have never been a fan of the whole "I am a cancer survivor" thing because I always felt that the attitude of "survivor" put me in a lesser position, a victim mentality if you will. I don't know how else to explain it. "And then I saw Kat's Mastectomy Goddesses - oh my . . ." I have never had anything speak to me so powerfully, something that so embodied my own attitude towards breast cancer and the aftermath of treatment. The hair stood up on my arms, I got tears in my eyes. This did not represent a breast cancer survivor. This represented a woman whose power was enhanced by the victory over a deadly disease, who is unafraid to stand, Naked and Unashamed, and to proclaim "I am Powerful, I am Here, and I have won an incredible Victory. This is Me, Naked." Really, it's hard to put into words. Needless, to say, I bought my steel block and chasing hammer, I bought some raku beads, and I bought both Mastectomy Goddesses. Please forward this on, if you would, to Kat. I want her to know . . . Jayne Mills
