Let me just say, WOW!!!! When I opened the package I was speechless, spelbound, thrilled and overwhelmed all at once! The larimar is such a soft blue that you almost expect them to be soft to the touch.

Beautiful! Just beautiful. The turquoise 5-6mm beads are so wonderful. I wish I had bought 3 strands but I didn't want to be a pig. They look so bright, in natural light, and look so great with the citrine.

Now the citrine needs a whole paragraph by itself. The citrine is breathing taking!!! I thought they would be sort of pretty yellow and white stones, a little bit dull, to mix in with the turquoise for length and intrest, playing on the different shape, but not competing for attention. The picture does not show how absolutly gorgeous they are!! They are so bright, like fire!!!! They won't just fill out the turquoise, they will make it EXPLODE!!! The colors of the two stones play off each other to make both show to the best advantage. I can't wait to string them, but I have so much to do before I can.

You must be a master of understatment. Your description said they are nice. The ones that came in my mail today are not nice. They are to bright, to beautiful to be called nice, absolutly gorgeous, maybe. And let me say a little about prices. A few years back, I paid three times as much, locally, for some 10mm round citrine beads that I thought were beautiful. Next to these nuggets they look sort of dull. The round ones look clearer and are probably worth more because of it, but the fire in these beads looks so much brighter yellow. If I had seen them side by side, I would have never looked at the round ones. My eyes would have locked on these citrine nuggets. As it is said, Beautiful is in the eye of the beholder". This beholder is very grateful to you for picking these out, to sell.

Everything I have ever bought from you is simply the BEST. No matter what grade the stones are, you get the best of that grade, the ones at the top of the mark, for excellence, in every grade.

I love your Copper work and the stones you use with the Copper.

I made several pairs of large Copper Earrings, and one pair I stamped and Riveted. In Jan. I was ask to be a vendor for the Trumpet Awards, at the Hyatt Regency, here in Atlanta.

We set up on Thursday and had to leave everything overnight, so I asked the Security Guards if they would keep an eye on my Jewelry, because there was a lot of money on the table.

My husband, being a Precious Metals snob, ask me why I brought the Copper jewelry, and I told him that Copper was the new Silver, and he laughted at me. He told me if I sold those big ugly Copper Earrings, I could cut his ear lobe off and fry it.

The next morning, when I came into the Vendor's area, at two different times, both Security Guards came to me and asked me to check and be sure everything was there, because someone had been in my booth looking and touching.

I did not find anything missing, and about that time, the lady from across the aisle, came over to me and said, "Where are my Copper Earrings, because those are mine"! I was shocked, to say the least, but she asked me if I would take a check, and I told her yes, so she got her checkbook and wrote me a check for $175.00, without saying a thing, except, Thank you for making these, I love them!

She immediately put them on in her extra hole in her lobe, beside her other Copper earrings. Then she said that she only wears Copper Jewelry.

When I got home that night, and handed my husband the sales for the day, he asked me about the Check for $175, and I told him it was for the Copper Riveted earrings, and to get the knife because I was ready to cut and fry. He hasn't mentioned his distaste for Copper since then.

Szarka, I showed him your Copper work, and he admitted that he really liked it, I guess the $175 for the Copper earrings made a lasting impression.

Now on another level, I have been shopping with you for at least four years, and for all of your customers, I wanted them to know that your sites are the best places to shop for gem Stones, and know that you are not going to be cheated or lied to about any stone you question.

You will also go the extra mile for them, if there is something they want, and you think you might have it, you will go to the warehouse and pull things until you find it. For that, I really thank you, the Garnet Rope, I thought I ordered, but didn't, but you pulled things until you found it!

You are the type of Gem Vendor, I know I can trust!

Your package arrived today. We had problems with ice here and I had to wait for the package - which was not easy knowing that it was coming from you.

As a point of feedback to you, my friend, I think you have highly underrated your product. :-)

Now, will I have the heart to make creations out of this shipment - uhh, not if I don't deal with the separation anxiety and any other that can be manifested so that those beads stay in my hands.

Wished that I would have order lots more of everything and not contained myself on any selection. Do you suppose that I may be a slightly addicted client? We already know that I am an addicted beader and wire person.

Szarka, those cream pearls A 8mm - I lust for every stand of that which is in your shop. All of the pearls are beautiful - naturally, they passed the Szarka test. And the prices, how ever do you do it?

The Turquoise Magesite white ovals 40mm are beautiful and there is a bit of green (my fav color) on a couple of them. Any of those you get in will be wonderful. What a classic and ends the problem of putting in a white or cream bead that is not harsh color that fits a creation.

You know that I could go on and on about each and every item. But will say, no wonder you ran out of the mandrel either - leave it to you to have the most perfect tools. As far as I am concerned, no supplier is any where near Magpie Gemstones diversity, quality, price and service.

Not sure when I will order again but if any of those pearls are around, I will be getting into them.

It seems to go hand in hand with the creations you make that you find the beautiful things you do. I suspect you are gifted beyond the word "Artist". And thank you very much for letting me know that you were going to be having these beads. :-)

Saw your Fetish Necklace anti-advertisement on BAM's classifieds and had to check it out. Those were very neat, but not my thing. However, I decided to browse a little bit - low and behold, you had a sale on tools, and I have been wanting to get a steel bench block and a chasing hammer forever and there they were.


Then I saw some wonderful raku beads and said, "What the hell, it's only money!", and added those to the cart.

And then I saw Kat's Goddesses!

And then I saw Kat's Mastectomy Goddesses.

Oh my.

I had a mastectomy in 1993 and the requisite six months of chemotherapy treatments. I did not do reconstruction and I do not wear a prosthesis - I am not ashamed or embarrassed by my different look, it is just Me, Naked. I have never been a fan of the whole "I am a cancer survivor" thing because I always felt that the attitude of "survivor" put me in a lesser position, a victim mentality if you will. I don't know how else to explain it.

"And then I saw Kat's Mastectomy Goddesses - oh my . . ."

I have never had anything speak to me so powerfully, something that so embodied my own attitude towards breast cancer and the aftermath of treatment. The hair stood up on my arms, I got tears in my eyes. This did not represent a breast cancer survivor. This represented a woman whose power was enhanced by the victory over a deadly disease, who is unafraid to stand, Naked and Unashamed, and to proclaim "I am Powerful, I am Here, and I have won an incredible Victory. This is Me, Naked."

Really, it's hard to put into words.

Needless, to say, I bought my steel block and chasing hammer, I bought some raku beads, and I bought both Mastectomy Goddesses.

I love the beads I got already, I got the green garnet nuggets, smooth tourmaline rondelles and large faceted peridot rondelles, amongst others, but those in particular I loved, they have a fabulous organic feel to them! Magpie gemstones has the most wonderful gems and beads at such a reasonable cost that It's almost a sin!!! I was totally blown away at the costs and the beauty of the stones that I HAD to make myself stop because my budget only allowed me so much. On the tanzanite that I won on EBay, I knew I had over paid but so desperately wanted them to finish a piece, that I didn’t care ( you know how it is when you just fall in love with something). For you to send me an extra strand showed me just how caring of a business owner you are, and for your kindness you will be the only person I order my gemstone beads from, which I do order quite a bit, since this is how I earn my living. Also the opals just took my breath away, they were so beautiful.

First – I got my order today. How do you get it here so fast? Two days from Texas to Virginia? Wow.

Second – They are absolutely gorgeous. I am not a fan of yellow but the calcite golden yellow puff coin beads are so pretty. I love blue kyanite but have never used the green before. Again, so pretty. All the other beads are lovely as well.

They are so pretty that I’m not sure I’m going to even use them right away. I might just sit and stare at them for a while.

You are the only online store that I have no qualms about purchasing from. I know the quality is going to be excellent and the beads will look just like the pictures online or even better.
