*Your shipping is still free but you are required to pay for insurance and signature confirmation. We created this procedure due to the number of large orders we were receiving that were made by fraudulent methods and we could not absorb this expense on orders that are deep wholesale.


 

Your package to the USA will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt of payment for your order Monday through Friday except for holidays and unforeseen circumstances.

If your package is extra heavy, there may be an additional charge. If your package is smaller or lighter there may be a refund to your payment method for the actual cost of shipping. Semi-precious beads are duty-free to Canada; therefore if you are charged a fee at customs you should request the return of same.

Do you ship internationally? If so, how much is it? 


We ship anywhere that the USPS provides service. This includes Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and most European Union countries. 


Orders $75 or more must be shipped with insurance


Orders under $75 International USPS 1st class shipping without insurance $16.99


Orders under $75 Priority Mail International USPS Insured $39.99


Orders $75-$500 International USPS Priority Mail Insured $49.99 (small items)


Orders $75-$500 Express Priority Mail Insured (smaller items) $79.99


Orders $500-$1000 Priority Mail Insured $99.99 (rate for heavier or bulky packages under $500)

If your package is smaller or lighter there may be a refund to your payment method for the actual cost of shipping.


Your order will ship within 48 hours on business days barring complications and USPS quotes delivery time as being from 7 to 14 days. Your order can be delayed in your local customs office for as long as a month, yet this seldom occurs.


Magpie Gemstones is not responsible for lost orders. It is the customer’s decision regarding the purchase of insurance so please assess the risk of your countries’ delivery service.


If you feel you need a tracking number for your package you will need to select Express Mail Insured. 

 

 

 

 

 

How do I buy wholesale?


Magpie Gemstones provides advantageous pricing for everyone as well as considerable discounts for purchases amounting to $75 or more (see below). We do not have a separate price scale for wholesale as our prices are already at or below that level.


The following discounts are calculated automatically in your cart. There are no minimum order amounts and no buyer requirements to purchase from the website. The prices shown on this site are some of the lowest in the industry.

Note On Wholesale for WA residents

Washington State residents who wish to buy wholesale (not pay Washington State Tax because they resell) will need to contact us to set up an account. Clients from states other than Washington are not charged sales tax.

 

 

 

 

Do you accept returns?


We accept returns within 14 days of the shipping date if merchandise is returned in its original condition.


If your order falls below the free shipping amount your refund will be adjusted for the shipping fee. This occurs when the merchandise you return adjusts your total purchase to less than $39.


If the returned items modify your total such that it falls into a different discount code, this will also be factored in. If you wish further clarification, please feel free to email us


Some returns over 14 days are accepted but must be pre-approved. They will include a 20% restocking fee if we are able to accept the return and can only be refunded with a store credit.


Our SUPER SALE and Close Out items are not refundable, nor are any items purchased during one of our store-wide sales.


Return postage is the purchaser's responsibility.

 

 

 

 

Do you have a catalog or showroom?


We are strictly an online store and do not have a printed catalog or showroom.


Texas Magpie is a sole distributor of our gems and sells at trade shows. Please check the show schedule to see if and when we will be in your area.

Do you backorder or take special orders?


We don’t backorder merchandise since our inventory is constantly changing. We only sell high quality, hand selected gemstones which means we can rarely replace stock. I recommend buying it when it is available in the quantity you need and then being surprised if we get more. I know we will be!


Our clients find their jewelry sells well when using our higher quality and unique pieces as opposed to "designer" quality a lot of fabrication houses must use. That said, once in awhile, we can reorder some lines and trust they will be up to the quality we carry. It never hurts to ask about specific items.
