The amethyst further down on this page is mostly heat treated (as most amethyst is) and unless otherwise noted not dyed to the best of my understanding. Heat treatment of stones do not need to be disclosed legally but I like my client's to know the processes their beads may have undergone. A number of the amethyst beads on this page have not been heated.
The Green amethyst also known as Prasiolyte is most probably the result of a heat treatment. There is some that is naturally found this color but not often. It is also looked down upon to call it amethyst as amethyst means purple quartz but since it is made by heating only certain amethyst (which then turns green) it is a common way for the trade to refer to it.

Agates usually occur as nodules in volcanic rocks. These develop as each agate fills the cavity of its host rock. Agate, a type of chalcedony composed of quartz layers, is striped by nature and appears in a variety of types and colors. The name of each type of agate, such as Blue Lace Agate or Botswana Agate, is usually based on the color and/or the geographic location where the variety is mined. It is sometimes confused with jasper, another member of the chalcedony family, which has less distinct patterns than agate.
Mining for agate occurs in a variety of geographic locations including Australia, Canada, Mexico and the U.S.A.

True amber, fossilized tree resin, is millions of years old and came from ancient pines and conifer trees that are now extinct. Some product marketed today as amber is tree resin, but not old enough to qualify as true amber. Amber is very light and though not a mineral it is considered precious and being so is the only precious "stone" that floats.

This blue green mineral is a type of microcline feldspar and is most commonly found in Australia, Madagascar, Namibia, Russia, the U.S.A. and Zimbabwe.
Although the name Amazonite was derived from the Amazon River where many green stones were found, this green feldspar does not exist there.
Some of the healing properties often associated with Amazonite include the alleviation of muscle spasms, stress and exhaustion as well as skin improvement. It is also believed to help with clarity of thought, social interaction, and marriage.
This form of Amazonite was originally found in Russian and has a deeper teal color.
