Premium quality wholesale Coral gemstone beads, pendants and cabochons for jewelry making and designing. Carefully selected gemstones help you create outstanding necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Coral, that often grows in the ocean like branches of trees is a calcium carbonate built up by the skeletal materials of small animals. Although it comes in a variety of colors, black, red and pink are usually the most valuable. This bead is fragile and jewelry makers and wearers need to protect it from hot water, bright sunlight and cosmetics. There are three kinds of coral beads available at Magpie Gemstones; bamboo, sponge, and Mediterranean. The first two are oil dyed and much less expensive. The natural Mediterranean is just that, natural. There is much less of it available on the world market. It is an excellent investment as the prices will rise over time. International clients, please be aware of your countries import laws as it is illegal to import coral to some countries and others you need to have documentation from your government to be allowed to do so.
