Morganite Baeds Gemstone Beads, Pendants and Cabochons

Carefully selected gemstones help you create outstanding necklaces, bracelets and earrings. This gemstone was formerly known as “the pink berl” and didn’t become known as Morganite until 1911. It may also be called rose beryl, pink emerald or cesian beryl and is often heat treated in order to remove patches of yellow. Morganite occurs when manganese is intercalated in beryl turning it pink. Although the pink is predominant, Morganite may be lilac or light violet. It may even display a bit of orange. Morganite can be found in Brazil, Madagascar, Afghanistan and California. Some believe that Morganite will help put people in a good mood since is it purposed to help with stress-related problems.
